"It was talked about all the time," said Alex Sisofo, a rising sophomore athletic training major. "But I don't actually think we were ever the number ane political party school."

Other UD students were more skeptical of the political party school standing.
"I think that affair was bogus," Gillian Lagorce said later on she finished guiding a campus tour. "I don't think people care that much. I personally don't care at all."
UD'southward off-campus party scene has drawn ire from longtime Newark residents in the by, so much and then that in March, the Newark Urban center Council passed a law to curb what it called "unruly social gatherings."

Other students against the police worried it would harm UD's "rich history" of partying and afford police troubling discretionary ability.
