Introduction

Testing the latest batch of Mitsubishi Rayon commuter shafts couldn't have come at a better time.  While I was happy with my commuter setup, I was getting golfer's elbow pain, and I was able to determine that my driver was the culprit.  When I was testing the Mitsubishi shafts, I noticed the elbow pain went away, and I also got acquainted with the new Kuro Kage Black TiNi shaft and had somewhat of an awakening with my game off the tee.  Post-obit the success of the lower launching Kuro Kage Silver TiNi, Mitsubishi introduced the Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire engineering into the tip of the new Blackness serial to requite golfers more control and a more consistent experience.

Looks

Mostly speaking, the Kuro Kage Black TiNi has a modest await with pocket-sized branding and a basic black, greyness, and silver color scheme.  With all of the brilliant, hockey stick fashion graphics on the market place, it's overnice to have a more simple looking shaft that isn't a big billboard.  At the same time, the Kuro Kage graphics are unique and still add together a lilliputian bit of character.

Feel

Experience and control are where the Kuro Kage Black TiNi actually started to differentiate itself. The Black TiNi has a smooth and consistent feel to it that's very solid.  It's similar to what we found in the Silverish TiNi shaft, just nosotros too said that "Golfers with smooth or slower swings will probably desire something that has a little more snap to information technology" when it comes to the Argent TiNi.  I retrieve the Black TiNi has that extra snap that the smoother and slower speeds are looking for, but the faster and more aggressive swinger volition appreciate it equally well.  In addition to the nifty feel, I establish the Kuro Kage Blackness TiNi to be very easy to control and hitting different types of shots with.  I practise struggle to hit low burners with it, but I am able to comfortably hitting mid-trajectory to high shots.

Operation

I initially tested the Kuro Kage Black TiNi shaft in the wrong commuter caput and found lower numbers than I'1000 accepted to.  Not one to quit, I switched the Black TiNi over to my gamer driver and had a much different experience.  Once I got the Black TiNi dialed in, I was hooked, and I've even stuck with information technology through the honeymoon stage.  Now, I'm not going to claim I added 50 yards of altitude or that I'm hit the brawl like Jason Day and Dustin, but take I definitely started hit the Black TiNi further and more consistently than my other commuter shafts.  What I really like about this shaft is the explosive and piercing flight I'chiliad getting out of it.  Since switching to Kuro Kage Blackness TiNi, I've found that I tin can drill the ball through the air, and the shot is very heavy and long.  To make my second hockey reference in 1 review, I would equate information technology to being like a heavy slap shot.  As Autumn approaches in Chicago and the winds pick upwards, this has proven to be extremely beneficial.

Conclusion

If you read Mitsubishi'due south product page on the Kuro Kage Black TiNi, y'all'll discover a petty of notes on interesting engineering and science that goes into this shaft.  While I'm into that "whole kind of thing," and information technology's smashing information, this was definitely a shaft where the actions spoke louder than words.  The Titanium Nickel Wire makes the shaft more stable and the Low Resin Content Prepreg makes the shaft lighter and stronger for enhanced experience.  I'll have Kuro Kage'due south word for it, but the Black TiNi'due south incredible experience and performance accept cemented this shaft as my current gamer.
